Lisa has been involved in local theatre and musical productions, both on stage and as a musical director, for many years. Some of Ms. Kornkven's favorite roles include Mother Abbess in FMCT's The Sound of Music, Nona Alto in FEC's The Altos (Like the Sopranos, Only Lower), and Sheila Wonderly in BSP's Murder at the Cafe Noir. Directing credits include Rocky Horror Picture Show, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, and Are We There Yet? Most recently, Lisa can be found on stage with her rock band, Special Blend Band.

No, Lisa does NOT know when the film "Tankhouse Theater" (a feature film shot locally in which Ms. Kornkven has a small speaking role) is coming out. If you wish to see her on the movie screen, Lisa suggests you take in "Thunderdogs," a short movie filmed by the founding members of Black Sheep Productions.

When not performing, Ms. Kornkven can be found acting silly in her general music classroom at McKinley Elementary School.
